Trans Desert Transport is a well established Logistics provider since 1976 in Jeddah, their services include Import and Exports, Customs Clearance for both air and ocean freight shipments.

Urgent Notice, It has been brought to our attention over the past few months that a few of our members have payment issues with Ncube Logistics, all have suffered very delayed payments, all now paid, however deliberate delayed payments is not acceptable or in the spirt of working within the ASA family.

We need to know if you have traded with Ncube in the past 4-6 months and if they have paid you per your agreed payment terms. We want to know the good as well as the bad. Please send your reply to roy.loken@asanetwork.org with cc to robert@asanetwork.org

We also want to take this opportunity to remind all members that its very important to always agree payment terms with each other before handling shipments, the best way is to make a an agency agreement together which spells out terms of trading and payment terms.

There is a draft agency agreement form on the ASA website should you need one or you can ask Robert for a copy.

HAPPY NEW YEAR     

Hi all, we would like to reconfirm that this year’s ASA Conference / Meeting will be held in the beautiful city of Budapest, Hungary from the 12-15th October 2025. Please make a note in your diary to attend.

AS the numbers attending for the last 2 years have increased year on year and to provide more time for Face-to-Face meetings Wednesday 15th Oct. will now be a full day for meetings and presentations, we therefore strongly suggest you book flights to return on or after the 16^th of October.

The format will be similar to that we had in Bangkok, starting on Sunday evening with a “Getting to know you” Cocktail party with food and drinks. We will again hold a Lucky Dip Draw which was a great success and a bit of fun during the evening.

Monday morning an early start with Registration at 08.30 the Conference starting at 09.00.

Last year was the largest meeting ever held, and we hope that this year the numbers attending will be even bigger certainly that what we are planning for, we have a few new extra programs planned and will keep you up to date with these as we go along.

The ASA website will have all booking details on by Mid-January, this year there will be extra incentives for those making Early Bird bookings.

The Conference fee will be fully inclusive of all facilities including Coffee breaks, 3 Lunches, and 2 Dinners one of the Evenings will also include entertainment. We want this conference to be a successful business meeting but also want to make it a bit of fun so don’t miss out on the party.
