To all members, firstly I want to tell you we have just finished our 22st annual ASA Conference/meeting in Shenzhen, and by all accounts from the feed back from those participating it was a very enjoyable and successful meeting, and I need to make a special mention of our host member Eastrong International for a fantastic Gala Dinner at a very special “Traditional Dinner & Chinese Dance show”. It was spectacular and very entertaining.

The  Committee suggested the date for next years conference/meeting should be brought forward a bit to 3rd or 4th week in September 2027. This was advised to all participating members in Shenzhen meeting and it was agreed by the majority present.

Re Venue for 2027, I should like to update you on the various main selections proposed by the Committee and put to the members as the Shenzhen Conference. These are Antalya- Turkey, Dubai UAE (if the war in Iran ends soon), Phuket – Thailand.

We also received a few other recommendations form members during conference including Philippines, & Morocco. We want to go to a country that does not operate such strict controls on Visa as we recently had with Shenzhen ,China.  We are open to any other suggestions you may like to put forward, but these must be received fairly quickly, therefore can you let me have your suggestions before the end of November.  Please also take into account costs as many countries the cost of hotels and food/drinks can be very expensive.

Once I have received all recommendations I will discuss these with the committee and narrow this down to say 3 choices and then circulate these to you to vote on so we can come to a decision by early in January, as the sooner we can finalise this and find a suitable hotel at the chosen venue the better. The target would be be able to open up the booking system by early March.
