Hi all, I would just like to take a few minutes to share some of the experiences we have come across in obtaining a visa to attend this year’s ASA Conference.

Firstly, it’s very important you double check with your local Indian Embassy to see what the regulations from your country are as they vary a lot from country to country.

Therefore, it’s very important you check with you local Indian Embassy first, as from most countries a visa will be required before arrival.  We have been told the average time to get a visa is 3-4 weeks unless you use an express service (not available from all countries).  If you need a letter of invitation for your visa application, please request these from Roy Loken and Cargomar our hosts for this year’s meeting.

Finally, for those of you who have not yet made your booking to attend this year’s ASA conference please do so now, as we have a commitment with the hotel to hold our block bookings at special rate for only until August and now it’s already July. See you there it’s going to be a great meeting with special half day tour included

ASA Conference/Meeting 2023, 1st – 4th October 2023

Pride Plaza Hotel Aerocity – New Delhi, India.

Dear Members, We are pleased to be able to advise we have now finalised the arrangements for this year Conference, it will be held in the Pride Plaza Hotel in Aerocity, a special Hotel complex area near the airport, similar to that of the area in Dubai of our last meeting.

We have negotiated a very special hotel rate inclusive of breakfast, WiFi, Gym, pool and taxes. Its based on early Bird booking special rate which will only be available for booking by 31st May thereafter the hotel will increase the special rate by approx. 25% still lower than their normal rate.

 This year will also be a special year for ASA, as it’s our 20th Anniversary so we hope we can make it a bit special. 

During the 3 days Conference/Meetings we will be providing all conference facilities including Lunch, Tea/Coffee breaks and evening Dinner.

We always start the conference on a Sunday evening 1^st October with a “Getting to know you cocktail party” normally held in the hotel or grounds.

We will be working on an agenda for the first day “Monday” Tuesday and Wednesday morning will be members meeting each other in 1-2-1 together.  On Wednesday afternoon we will also offer a sightseeing tour for those that would like to see a bit of Delhi.
