Gala Dinner Menu options.

                                    Very Important Notice

Regarding the ASA Conference Gala Dinner, I need an urgent reply from all members attending, if you are not the person attending please pass this to the attendee and or if more than one person is attending pass a copy of this to them.

We will have a 3 course traditional Hungarian dinner at the “Szeged Vendeglo” restaurant in Budapest.

We do have a choice for the main course in the Hungarian restaurant :-

  1. Paprika Chicken with egg barley   or  2. Pork in Bakony style with mixed garnish. Or if you require a vegetarian meal let me know.

I must have your choice by this Thursday latest as I must confirm the orders by Friday.

Please note I wont be sending any reminders as time is against us. If I do not receive a reply in time from you, I will guess your order as Paprika Chicken, so to ensure you get the main course you want please just drop me a quick line at robert@asanetwork.org confirming option No. 1 or No. 2.

Many thanks for your help with this , I’m looking forward to meeting you in a couple of weeks time.

Best regards

Robert

ASA Conference Cocktail party Lucky Dip Draw.

Sunday Evening ASA Cocktail Party – Lucky Dip Draw

Venue the “Shakespeare Restaurant”  Time 18.30-21.00

At this year’s ASA Conference, we would like to make the Sunday evening “Getting to know you Cocktail Party” as well as being an opportunity to meet ASA friends and many new members, a bit of fun by again asking everyone to bring a small gift/present (wrapped) that can be put into a lucky Dip Draw during the evening. We did it last year and it was a success so will repeat this again in October

Gift Guidelines

We would like each member attending to bring a gift that is recognizable as coming from your city or Country “it does not have to the name embossed on it”.

Examples:-  Paris a miniature “Eiffel Tower”, or “Brandy”.  London miniature “Big Ben” or  “red model London Bus”.  Scotland – “Whisky”,  India a “Tea in a Caddy” or a miniature “Tajh Mahal”, Mexico a “Sombrero”  Belgium “box of Chocolates”. Poland “Vodka” These are just a few examples please try and think outside the box with an original but fun gift.

Don’t forget to wrap the gift so it can’t be recognised in the draw.

Pricewise we don’t want you spending too much, but buy something you think would be appreciated. Let’s suggest a price range of USD 15-30.

The lucky dip will be organized by Committee member “Ajith”. Please liaise with him when you arrive at the Poolside Cocktail Party Venue on Sunday evening to get your gift into the designated Draw tables, and you will be given a draw ticket for later in the evening “Lucky Dip Draw”.

We look forward to meeting you at the reception and hope you all have a good time.

Robert & Roy.

Roger Long – 3R Logistics

It is with a saddened heart I bring you the news that our fellow brother Roger Long has passed away this past weekend.

Roger has been a long time friend for 20 years, and I have many fond memories of all our times together in Singapore. 3R Logistics has also been a stalwart active member of ASA since the beginning. Roger played a big part in this, always friendly and helpful to all, and has so many friends in the ASA family he will be sorely missed. We send out our sincere condolences to his family and all in 3R Logistics.

Dearest Roger R.I.P.
